• Develop and execute CFD simulations for refrigerant leakage, gas dispersion, and ventilation analysis
- Model multiphase flows, multi-species transport, and transient flow behavior
- Perform fire and combustion simulations, including ignition, flame propagation, and heat release
- Analyze hazard scenarios such as confined space leakage, accumulation, and flammability limits
- Apply appropriate boundary conditions for leak sources, mass flow rates, and environmental conditions
- Conduct steady-state and transient simulations for leak evolution and fire scenarios
- Interpret results to identify risk zones, ignition probability, and mitigation strategies
- Support V&V; activities, including comparison with test data and literature correlations
- Prepare technical reports highlighting assumptions, risks, and safety insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on safety, compliance, and product design
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s / Master’s in Mechanical, Chemical,
Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- 4–8 years of experience in CFD with focus on fluid flow and safety modeling
- Strong fundamentals in:
- Fluid dynamics and turbulence
- Heat transfer
- Multiphase flow and species transport
- Combustion and fire dynamics
