About Alchemic

Alchemic helps brands understand customers through AI interviews — voice, video, text, and WhatsApp. Companies get research insights in days instead of months. Our main product is an AI interviewer chatbot.

We need someone who will carefully try to break it, write down what went wrong, and help us catch the same problems faster next time.

Role

AI Chatbot Red Team Intern — full-time internship (remote). Three parts:

- Test the AI interviewer — join real interview sessions and try to make the chatbot fail (wrong answers, loops, confusing replies, getting stuck).
- Improve our test process — turn what you find into clear checklists and notes so the team doesn’t miss the same issue again.
- Automate repeated testing — when the same manual test is done over and over, help turn it into a simple script or step-by-step flow (using tools like Cursor) so a person only steps in for judgment calls.

This is not a software-engineering internship. You do not need to build our product. Clear writing and careful testing matter most. Light scripting is a plus.

Location: Remote (India)

Type: Internship - full-time

Compensation: ₹15,000 / month

Time: 6 hours a day. You may be asked to work on weekends; still 6 hours that day.

What you’ll do

Test the AI chatbot

- Join interviews on voice, video, or text and try unusual answers (off-topic, silent, contradictory, slang, another language, very short or very long answers)
- Walk through the full path: start → answer questions → finish; note slow screens, dropouts, “stuck connecting,” or wrong transcripts
- After we ship something new,



try the product and note anything confusing or broken
- After a bug is fixed, open a fresh interview link and check that the problem is really gone

Improve how we test

- Write short, clear notes: what you did, what you expected, what actually happened
- Add checklist items so the next test covers what you found
- Suggest short updates to our testing guides

Automate repeated tests

- Notice when the same steps are repeated by hand every day
- Propose a simpler, partly automated version
- Use Cursor or small scripts where it helps
- Write down the new steps so someone else can run them without you

Who will succeed

- You like finding problems in chatbots and products — and writing them down clearly
- You can explain a bug in simple steps a teammate can follow
- You are comfortable on voice/video calls (headphones, quiet space)
- You are willing to learn Cursor or basic scripting
- You can work 6 hours a day, including some weekends when needed

Qualifications

- Any experience testing apps, chatbots, or ChatGPT-style tools helps (formal QA title not required)
- Explicit written English
- Laptop, stable internet, able to join voice/video sessions
- Bonus: basic scripting (Python, JavaScript, or shell), Cursor or Claude, more than one Indian language

Ideal for

First-year or later undergraduates, or recent grads, who want hands-on work on a real AI product with direct feedback from the team.
