About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced SAS Developer with strong SQL skills to join our data and analytics team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in SAS programming , data analysis, ETL processes , and database querying. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling large datasets, developing reports, and supporting business requirements in a quick-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

/n

Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs and batch jobs.
/n
Write complex SQL queries , stored procedures, and data extraction scripts.
/n
Perform data analysis, validation, cleansing, and transformation activities.
/n
Work with large-scale databases and data warehouses.
/n
Create reports, dashboards, and analytical datasets using SAS .
/n
Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
/n
Troubleshoot and resolve data and performance-related issues.
/n
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with standards.
/n
Participate in code reviews,



documentation, and deployment activities.
/n

Qualifications:

/n

/n
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
/n
Strong hands-on experience in SAS Programming/Base SAS .
/n
Positive experience in SQL and database querying .
/n
Experience in data analysis, ETL, and reporting .
/n
Knowledge of SAS Macros, PROC SQL, and SAS Data Step programming.
/n
Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts .
/n
Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata , or similar databases.
/n
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
/n

Valuable-to-Have:

Experience in BFSI/Banking/Healthcare domain.
/n
Exposure to Unix/Linux scripting.
/n
Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
/n
Experience with SAS EG or SAS Viya is an added advantage.
/n
Communication and stakeholder management skills.
