Role Description The Admissions Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.

The Admissions

Officer will guide prospective students and families through the admissions process, providing accurate information about Aakash programs, eligibility criteria, fee structures, and enrollment procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling walk-in and phone inquiries, conducting counselling sessions, organizing admission events, maintaining admission records,



and coordinating with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. The role also involves following up with leads, supporting marketing and outreach initiatives, and ensuring high standards of customer service.

Officer is expected to uphold Aakash’s “Student First” approach while meeting admission targets and contributing to centre growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities for effective counselling and relationship building with students and families.
- Candidates should possess experience or understanding of International Admissions and Education processes, including admission criteria, documentation, and academic pathways.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain a positive experience throughout the admissions journey.
- Candidates should possess basic computer literacy and proficiency with CRM or admission management systems to track leads and maintain accurate records.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Education, Business, Psychology, or related field) and prior experience in admissions, counselling, or education services is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, meet timelines and targets, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, student-centric environment.
