Role Description The Accounting Manager – Founder's Office is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including preparation and review of financial statements, maintenance of general ledger accounts, and supervision of journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance. The individual will manage fixed asset accounting, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide analytical insights to the founder on financial performance and business decisions.

They will collaborate with internal teams, coordinate with external auditors and advisors, enhance financial controls and processes, and support strategic projects and reporting required by the Founder's Office.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret data, support decision-making, and provide transparent financial insights.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Financial Statements to prepare, review, and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in Journal Entries (Accounting) to maintain accurate ledgers, reconcile accounts, and ensure proper documentation.
- Candidates should possess experience managing Fixed Assets, including capitalization, depreciation, tracking, and compliance with company policies.
- Experience in managing end-to-end accounting operations, preferably in a growing or entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel, including reconciliations, financial modeling, and reporting dashboards.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
