Role Description The Accounting Manager at ERC Lens will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing general ledger activities, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This full-time, on-site role in Guwahati is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, monitoring fixed assets, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

The Accounting

Manager will coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards, maintain robust internal controls, and support audits and regulatory filings. The role also involves identifying process improvements, guiding junior accounting staff,



and providing clear financial insights to management that support the organization’s mission and growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret data, support decision-making, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements and Journal Entries (Accounting) to manage general ledger and reporting activities.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Fixed Assets to oversee asset tracking, capitalization, and depreciation.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA equivalent) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in accounting management, familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems, and strong proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to work on-site in Guwahati, manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit procedures; prior experience in healthcare or social impact organizations is beneficial.
