Role overview: We are looking for a hands-on Accounting lead to support and scale our internal finance operations. The role covers day-to-day accounting, month-end close, MIS preparation, and compliance support, team handling. We are specifically looking for someone with an automation-first mindset, who can build efficient processes and reduce manual work.

Requirements

What you'll do

- Own the India and US accounting function, including AP, AR, banking, expenses, fixed assets, accruals and inter company accounting.
- Lead a robust and timely month-end close and ensure books are accurate, reconciled and audit-ready.
- Build and strengthen accounting processes, controls and SOPs as the business scales.
- Partner with tax advisors and auditors on tax, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Work closely with FP&A; and business teams to provide reliable financial information for MIS and decision-making.




- Drive automation and AI adoption across accounting, identifying manual processes, and finding smarter ways to get them done.
- Own and continuously improve our Finance technology stack, including Zoho Books.

What will make you a great fit

- 10+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a technology, SaaS or high-growth environment.
- Strong accounting fundamentals with hands-on experience in month-end close and financial reporting.
- Exposure to India accounting, GST and TDS; US accounting experience is a plus.
- Comfortable working with data, technology and automation rather than relying solely on traditional accounting processes.
- AI-curious: you actively explore how AI can make your work faster, smarter and better.
- Strong ownership mindset, you see a problem and take it to closure.
- Zoho Books experience is a plus.
