Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and timely recording of income and expenses related to tours and car rentals.

Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and cash accounts, and ensuring accurate invoicing for customers and partners. The role also involves monitoring budgets, supporting tax and statutory compliance, coordinating with management on cost control and profitability, and maintaining organized financial records.



This is a full time, on-site role based in Aluva, requiring close collaboration with the operations and customer service teams.

Qualifications

- Solid accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger management, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including use of formulas, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations, GST, and statutory compliance relevant to travel, tourism, and transport services.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data and documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with operations, management, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain organized records in a fast-paced service environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an Accountant in travel, hospitality, or transport sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
