Role Description The Accountant role at Software License Hub is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing invoices and receipts related to software sales, subscriptions, and renewals.

Responsibilities include reconciliation of bank statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, supporting GST and other statutory compliance, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities.



The role also involves preparing financial reports for management, coordinating with sales and operations teams on billing accuracy, and supporting audits and internal controls. The Accountant will work closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial records and contribute to efficient financial processes.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and invoice processing.
- Working understanding of Indian taxation and compliance (e.g., GST, TDS) and statutory filings.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP or CRM systems is an advantage.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with sales, operations, and management teams.
- Ability to organize work, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; skilled certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) are a plus.
- Prior experience in software distribution, IT services, or licensing businesses is beneficial.
