Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, with an expected joining time within 7 days. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, preparing vouchers, and maintaining ledgers. The Accountant will assist with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.

The role includes preparing basic financial reports, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.



The individual will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as banks and vendors, to resolve accounting queries and maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for financial data management and reporting.
- Ability to handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bank transactions with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of basic taxation and compliance requirements relevant to corporate accounting.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related industry is preferred but not mandatory.
