Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ranchi. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, including recording entries in the accounting system, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll processing, and supporting budgeting and cost tracking for construction projects. The role also involves preparing financial reports, supporting statutory and tax compliance, coordinating with auditors,



and ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies. The Accountant will collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to provide accurate financial data and support decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and audit processes relevant to businesses in India.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project and operations teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA inter, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in construction or infrastructure accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
