We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a PhD & Academic Expert to work on a contract basis. The role involves providing expert-level academic guidance and research support to clients across specialized domains. Responsibilities include developing and refining academic content, conducting literature reviews, and ensuring scientific rigor in deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level academic consultation to clients in fields such as natural sciences, engineering, or social sciences.
- Review and validate research methodologies, experimental designs, and data interpretations for accuracy.
- Develop and refine research proposals, manuscripts, and grant applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate academic expertise into product or service development.
- Offer peer review and feedback on scholarly work to enhance clarity, coherence, and impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- PhD in a relevant academic discipline (e.g., Physics, Computer Science, Biology, Economics).
- Demonstrated expertise in academic research, writing, and peer-review processes.
- Ability to synthesize complex scientific or technical concepts into accessible insights.
- Experience with academic publishing, including journal submissions and revisions.
- Solid analytical and critical thinking skills to assess research quality and validity.
- Familiarity with citation management tools such as Zotero or Mendeley.
- Proficiency in academic writing conventions and disciplinary standards.
- Prior experience providing academic mentorship or advisory services.
