About the RoleDMHCA is looking for a dynamic Academic Partnership Manager to develop and manage academic collaborations with hospitals, medical colleges, clinics, diagnostic centers, and healthcare institutions.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential institutional partners, initiating discussions, negotiating collaboration opportunities, and building long-term academic partnerships for DMHCA's medical education and training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach hospitals, medical colleges, clinics, and healthcare institutions for academic collaboration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital management, academic heads, HR/L&D; teams, medical directors, and department heads.
- Develop partnerships for clinical training, hands-on training, observerships, fellowships, workshops, CME programs, and medical education initiatives.
- Schedule and conduct meetings/presentations with potential institutional partners.
- Understand partner requirements and propose suitable DMHCA collaboration models.
- Negotiate MoUs, partnership terms, training arrangements, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with internal Academic, Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams to execute partnerships.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective institutional partners and regularly follow up.
- Manage existing academic partners and explore opportunities to expand collaborations.
- Prepare partnership proposals, presentations, reports, and follow-up documentation.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly partnership and collaboration targets.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B Business Development, Institutional Partnerships, Academic Partnerships, Healthcare Partnerships, or Corporate Relations.
- Experience dealing with hospitals, medical colleges, healthcare organizations, or educational institutions preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to independently identify prospects and convert them into partnerships.
- Positive understanding of healthcare/medical education will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel for institutional meetings when required.
