Accountant (Tax & Compliance)
Working at Mumbai, India
Mammoet India is seeking an Accountant with robust Tax and Compliance experience to support ongoing tax assessments, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and audit activities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Manage tax compliance activities relating to Corporate Income Tax, GST, Withholding Tax, FEMA, and Transfer Pricing.
Support tax assessments and government audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with tax consultants and authorities.
Perform accounting activities including reconciliations, journal entries, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and local legislation.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.




Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and taxation experience.
Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
