Job Summary

We are seeking talented and motivated individuals for the role of Senior Associate, Backend Engineer. Successful candidates will be experienced programmers who can lead a team, develop user stories, write test cases, debug code, design, and develop solutions in an environment with constant collaborative discussions. An ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an agile setting who can design, code, deploy and participate in the release deployment cycle and work with multiple squads or hives to deliver complex features, epics and releases.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum 6+ years of development experience with development of SOAP/REST Services, using Java SpringBoot, JDK 17 & above.
Positive understanding on RESTful APIs, Microservice Architecture, SSL, OAuth2, Encryption & Signing .
Proficient understanding of code versioning and CICD tools like Git or Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible.
Knowledge and experience in Container Infrastructure such as Kubernetes, AWS EKS and Helm.
Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.



and ability to write complex SQL queries
Experience in Agile methodology and Messaging platforms is desirable.

Strategy

Oversees the execution of functional standards and best practices and provide technical assistance to the members of the chapter
Responsible for the quality of the code repository where applicable.
Acts as a conduit for the wider domain strategy, for example technical standards.
Act as a custodian for Java backend expertise.

Business

Experienced practitioner and hands on contribution to the squad delivery for their craft (Eg. Engineering).
Responsible to evolve the craft towards improving automation, simplification and innovative use of latest market trends.
Collaborate with product owners and other tech leads to ensure applications meet functional requirements and strategic objectives
