Role:
Responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the Menswear category through effective category planning, product assortment, pricing, inventory management, and market analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement category strategies to achieve sales and margin targets.
Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities.
Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute category initiatives.
Monitor category performance and recommend business improvements.
Enhance customer experience through data-driven category decision.
Required Skills
Robust knowledge of category management and apparel retail (menswear).
Proficiency in MS Excel and retail ERP/category management tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving ability.
Education & skilled skillset:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Desired experience:
3 - 6 years of experience in Category Management within the apparel retail industry.
Experience in the Menswear category will be preferred.
