Position: Laser Marking Supervisor
Location: Maharashtra, India
Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head
Experience: 2–5 years in laser marking or similar manufacturing/ Open for the right candidate

Job Purpose

To supervise and manage day-to-day laser marking operations, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely marking of plastic and other manufactured components as per customer drawings, specifications, and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, supervise, and monitor laser marking machines and related equipment.
- Ensure correct marking ofbatch numbers, logos, barcodes, QR codes, serial numbers, dates, identification codes, and other customer-specific details.
- Set up laser marking parameters such as power, speed, frequency, focus, and marking position as required for different materials and components.
- Verify marking quality, readability, position, depth/contrast, and overall appearance.
- Ensure production is carried out strictly according to approved drawings, samples, work instructions, and customer specifications.
- Prepare and maintain laser marking programs/files for different products.
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, Tool Room, and Maintenance teams for smooth production.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and obtain approval before starting batch production.
- Monitor production quantities, cycle times, rejection, and rework.
- Identify marking-related defects and take corrective action to minimize rejection.
- Maintain proper records of production, inspection, machine settings, and downtime.




- Ensure proper identification and traceability of components throughout the marking process.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of laser marking equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for machine breakdowns and technical issues.
- Ensure safe operation of laser equipment and compliance with company safety procedures.
- Train and guide operators/helpers working under the laser marking section.
- Maintain workplace discipline, cleanliness, and proper material handling.
- Ensure proper segregation and identification of OK, rejected, and rework components.
- Support current product development, trials, samples, and customer-specific marking requirements.
- Suggest improvements in marking methods, productivity, quality, and machine utilization.

Quality Responsibilities

- Ensure 100% accuracy of marking before dispatch.
- Verify marking against approved drawings and customer requirements.
- Prevent incorrect part numbers, batch codes, logos, or serial numbers from reaching the customer.
- Maintain traceability and documentation for marked components.
- Immediately report recurring quality issues to the Quality/Production Manager.

Educational Qualification: ITI / Diploma / Technical qualification in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field./ Open for the right candidate

Preferred Experience : Open / Experience in plastic injection moulding, automotive components, engineering components, industrial products, or precision plastic parts will be an advantage.

Location: Wada, Maharashtra

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
