Overview of the Role:

As a Solutions Manager specializing in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and delivering enterprise-grade solutions for leading organizations adopting SAP cloud technologies. You will be instrumental in shaping technical strategies, fostering collaborative client relationships, and driving pre-sales initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring scalable, secure, and creative SAP BTP applications and integrations that align with HCLTech's commitment to excellence and client success.

Detailed Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Delivery
Define and design end-to-end technical architecture for enterprise solutions leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Develop AI-driven delivery propositions utilizing advanced agentic AI tools (such as J4D, Build Code, Claude, etc.) for enterprise-grade SAP BTP solutions.
Architect robust, scalable, and secure BTP-based applications using:
SAP Integration Suite
SAP Build
SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming)
SAP Extension Suite
Event Mesh
API Management
SAP Business AI (Joule, SAP AI Core)
Design integration architectures for hybrid and cloud environments, spanning SAP and non-SAP systems.
Lead technical solutioning for:
SAP S/4HANA integrations
Side-by-side extensions
API-led architectures
Event-driven integration patterns
Microservices and container-based deployments
Joule Agents and Intelligent Process Automations
Establish and promote architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and governance models for SAP BTP implementations.
Guide development teams in best practices, clean-core principles, security, performance optimization, and DevOps methodologies.
Conduct architectural reviews, technical assessments, and solution validations during customer engagements.





Pre-Sales & Consulting
Collaborate with sales and business teams to support SAP BTP consulting opportunities and drive strategic pursuits.
Lead technical discussions, discovery workshops, and client presentations to communicate SAP BTP capabilities and value.
Manage technical solutioning and architecture responses for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and proposal submissions.
Prepare solution blueprints, effort estimations, Statements of Work (SOW), high-level architecture diagrams, and technical proposals.

Additional Contributions
Support the creation of demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and customer showcases utilizing SAP BTP services.
Work closely with SAP account teams and hyperscaler partners to identify and deliver on joint business opportunities.
Contribute to internal practice development initiatives, accelerators, reusable assets, and go-to-market offerings.

Skill Requirements
Must-Have Skills
In-depth expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
Strong background in solution architecture and consulting for enterprise environments
Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build, SAP CAP, SAP Extension Suite, Event Mesh, API Management, and SAP Business AI
Proficiency in designing complex integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems
Experience leading technical delivery, architecture reviews, and client workshops

Educational Background & Certifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
SAP certifications in relevant areas (such as SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, or SAP S/4HANA) are a strong plus

Experience
Proven experience in SAP solutions architecture, pre-sales, and technical consulting for large enterprise clients
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client engagements
