Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant (Fresher) to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for Commerce graduates who are looking to start their career in accounting and finance. The candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and be willing to learn and work on Zoho Books.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in maintaining day-to-day accounting transactions in Zoho Books

2. Support bank entries, voucher posting, and account reconciliations

3. Prepare sales invoices, proforma invoices, debit notes, and credit notes

4. Assist in the preparation of GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B) and related documentation

5. Support the preparation of TDS working sheets and maintain proper records

6. Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records

7. Assist in preparing MIS reports, expense statements, and financial summaries

8.



Reconcile collection reports with bank statements to ensure accurate recording of receipts

9. Coordinate with senior accountants, auditors, and other departments for required accounting information

10. Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting and tax-related records

Preferred Skills:

1. Basic understanding of Indian taxation and compliance

2. Knowledge of journal entries, ledger posting, and bank reconciliation

3. Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and accounting concepts

4. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn

5. Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel

6. Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines

7. Familiarity with Zoho Books (accounting software) will be an added advantage
