Requirements:

- 2–5+ years of experience operating industrial metal-cutting bandsaw machines
- Experience cutting MS bars, rods, shafts, or similar metal stock
- Ability to set cutting length accurately
- Knowledge of blade selection, blade tension, feed rate, and cutting speed
- Ability to check cut length using vernier caliper, measuring tape, or scale
- Understands straightness, squareness, burrs, and cut quality
- Can load and align bars safely
- Can change bandsaw blades
- Can identify blade wear, tooth damage, vibration, overheating, or abnormal cutting
- Basic knowledge of coolant/lubrication
- Able to perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance
- Understands production targets and piece counting
- Can minimize material wastage and incorrect cuts
- Comfortable working in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- ITI Machinist/Fitter preferred, but strong practical experience is more important

Job Description:

AA Industries is hiring an experienced Bandsaw Machine Operator for metal bar and shaft cutting in our manufacturing facility.

The candidate will be responsible for operating bandsaw machines used to cut MS bars and rods into required lengths before further machining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate industrial bandsaw machines for cutting MS bars, rods,



and other metal stock.
- Set and maintain accurate cutting lengths as per production requirements.
- Load, align, clamp, and position material correctly before cutting.
- Monitor blade condition, cutting speed, feed, coolant, and machine performance.
- Change and adjust bandsaw blades when required.
- Check cut dimensions and quality using measuring instruments.
- Ensure cuts are straight, accurate, and free from excessive burrs.
- Identify machine or blade issues such as vibration, overheating, poor cutting, or abnormal noise.
- Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Maintain production output while minimizing material wastage and incorrect cuts.
- Coordinate with production supervisors regarding daily cutting targets and material requirements.
- Follow machine safety procedures at all times.

Candidate Profile:

- Experience operating metal-cutting bandsaw machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MS bars, rods, shafts, automotive components, engineering parts, or similar metal products preferred.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Able to work independently and consistently meet production targets.
- Full time role in Faridabad, Haryana.
