ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a highly experienced, mature and hands-on Restaurant Manager who can independently manage the complete day-to-day operations of a busy restaurant and bar.

We are looking for someone for whom restaurant operations, staff management and customer handling come naturally.

The ideal candidate should be capable of taking complete ownership of the outlet and ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly without constant supervision from the owner.

- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. COMPLETE RESTAURANT OPERATIONSTake complete responsibility for day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing of the outlet.
- Maintain service standards, food quality and customer experience.
- Coordinate between Kitchen, Service, Bar, Cashier and Store teams.
- Ensure all SOPs are followed.
- Monitor speed of service and order execution.
- Handle operational issues and resolve them quickly.
- 2. STAFF MANAGEMENTManage the complete restaurant staff efficiently.
- Prepare staff rosters and shifts.
- Ensure proper manpower deployment during peak hours.
- Conduct daily staff briefing.
- Set daily targets and communicate expectations.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and discipline.
- Train new employees.
- Handle staff conflicts and performance issues.
- Ensure the outlet does not suffer because of staff shortages.
- Build a responsible and disciplined team.

The candidate should be comfortable handling staffing independently.

- 3. RESTAURANT & BAR MANAGEMENTManage restaurant and bar operations.
- Ensure proper service and hygiene standards.
- Monitor bar inventory and consumption.
- Control wastage and pilferage.
- Ensure proper stock handling and storage.
- Coordinate with the bar and kitchen teams.




- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable licensing requirements.
- Monitor high-value inventory and report discrepancies.
- 4. SALES & BUSINESS PERFORMANCETake ownership of daily sales.
- Set and monitor daily sales targets.
- Work actively towards increasing walk-in and online sales.
- Monitor Zomato / Swiggy performance and promotions.
- Identify opportunities to increase Average Order Value (AOV).
- Drive upselling and suggestive selling through the service team.
- Monitor peak and non-peak hours and take corrective action.
- Track daily revenue and outlet performance.
- 5. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCEPersonally monitor customer experience during service.
- Handle customer complaints professionally.
- Resolve issues immediately wherever possible.
- Ensure repeat customers receive consistent service.
- Monitor online reviews and customer feedback.
- Ensure service standards are maintained at all times.
- 6. FOOD QUALITY & HYGIENEEnsure food quality is maintained consistently.
- Monitor portion control.
- Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness.
- Conduct regular checks of kitchen and restaurant areas.
- Ensure food safety practices are followed.
- Coordinate with the Kitchen team to minimise wastage.
- Immediately report any quality or hygiene concern.
- 7. INVENTORY & COST CONTROLCoordinate with Store / Inventory team.
- Monitor daily consumption and wastage.
- Identify unusual stock consumption.
- Ensure proper portion control.
- Monitor food and beverage wastage.
- Prevent unnecessary leakage and pilferage.
- Ensure proper stock requisition and usage.

8. REPORTING & ACCOUNTABILITYMaintain and review:

- Daily Sales Report
- Staff Attendance
- Daily Opening / Closing Checklist
- Wastage Report

- Customer Complaints
- Online Orders

CANDIDATE PROFILEWe are looking for a strong operator, not someone who only sits in the office and supervises.

The candidate should be:

- Highly experienced in restaurant operations.
- Confident in managing large teams.
- Strong in staff discipline and manpower planning.
- Excellent at customer handling.
- Comfortable managing restaurant and bar operations.
- Strong in sales and upselling.
- Good with inventory and wastage control.
- Able to work under pressure during peak hours.
- Quick at solving operational problems.
- Mature, responsible and accountable.
- Able to independently take decisions.
- Comfortable working with owners and senior management.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREDMinimum 5 years of relevant restaurant experience preferred.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM THE PERSONThe person joining us should be able to take ownership of the outlet.

If the owner is not present at the restaurant, the outlet should still run smoothly.

The Manager should be capable of managing:

People + Sales + Service + Kitchen Coordination + Bar + Inventory + Customer Complaints + Hygiene + Daily Operations

with minimum intervention from the owner.

SALARY₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Salary will depend on experience, capability and previous responsibilities.

Performance incentives may be offered based on business performance.
