JOB DESCRIPTION – JUNIOR ACCOUNTANTPosition: Junior Accountant

- Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
- Handle sales invoices, purchase bills, receipts, payments and journal entries.
- Verify and process transportation, freight, fuel, vehicle and vendor bills.
- Maintain customer and transporter/vendor ledgers.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Track outstanding payments and receivables.
- Maintain records related to POD (Proof of Delivery), freight bills and transportation expenses.
- Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.
- Verify invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Prepare basic MIS and monthly accounting reports.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Logistics teams regarding billing and accounting discrepancies.




- Assist Senior Accountant in month-end closing and other accounting activities.
- RequirementsB.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounts, preferably in a logistics/transportation company.
- Good knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Understanding of transport billing, vendor reconciliation and freight accounting.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- PreferredPrior experience in a Logistics, Transport, Freight Forwarding or Supply Chain company.
- Knowledge of e-invoicing and e-way bills will be an added advantage.
