Continental Helper for Cafe

Experience Required: 1–2 years preferred

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Continental Kitchen Helper to assist the chef with daily kitchen operations and food preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Continental Chef in preparing burgers, pasta, pizza, sandwiches, wraps, and other café dishes.
- Perform basic food preparation such as cutting, chopping, peeling, portioning, and marinating ingredients.
- Assist with pizza, sandwich, burger, pasta, and other food preparations as instructed by the chef.
- Ensure ingredients, sauces, toppings, and other mise en place are ready before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas.
- Wash and properly store kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and storage standards.




- Assist in receiving, arranging, and storing kitchen ingredients.
- Help with stock checking and minimize food wastage.
- Support the chef during busy hours to ensure orders are prepared on time.
- Follow instructions from the chef and work cooperatively with the kitchen team.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a café, QSR, restaurant, or commercial kitchen is preferred.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
- Willingness to learn Continental/café food preparation.
- Hardworking, punctual, disciplined, and a positive team player.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
