Job Description:

IntVerse Inc. is hiring an experienced SAP MM / Procure-to-Pay Consultant with hands-on Vertex tax engine experience to join our India delivery team. You'll be deployed on a global Wave 2 rollout running through go-live and hypercare into July 2027, with continued opportunities across our SAP portfolio thereafter.

What you'll do:

- Lead MM/PTP design and configuration for Wave 2 scope — purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice verification, and vendor management
- Configure and validate purchase-side tax determination in SAP integrated with Vertex , including tax code determination, jurisdiction logic, and material/service taxability mapping
- Own the PTP side of the SAP–Vertex interface: tax calculation on POs and invoices, use tax accrual, and reconciliation between SAP documents and Vertex tax registers
- Handle vendor-charged tax vs. self-assessed use tax scenarios in invoice verification (MIRO) and resolve tax variance and blocking logic
- Work with the tax and finance teams to translate procurement tax requirements into configuration and Vertex mapping rules
- Drive functional unit testing, SIT, UAT,



and regression cycles for procurement and tax scenarios
- Support data migration, cutover, and post-go-live hypercare with defect triage and resolution
- Partner with FICO, OTC, and ABAP teams on cross-module and interface dependencies

What you'll bring:

- 7+ years of hands-on SAP MM/PTP configuration experience
- 5+ years of relevant business domain experience
- 1–2 years working with Vertex integrated with SAP (purchase-side tax determination, use tax accrual, external tax interface)
- Solid command of the end-to-end procure-to-pay cycle and its integration touchpoints with FI
- Understanding of indirect tax on the purchasing side — use tax, exemption handling, and taxability by material and service type
- Experience across full-lifecycle implementations or rollouts — design through go-live and hypercare
- Proven ability to work with global stakeholders and distributed teams

Nice to have:

- SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement experience
- Exposure to SAP Ariba or other procurement platforms
- Prior multi-country or multi-wave rollout experience
