We are hiring for our client, a plantation and agribusiness organization with a legacy spanning several decades, based in Calicut!

Experience - 7 - 12 Years

Role Description

- The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
- Prepare invoices, handle accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor cash flow, and assist in budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and supporting the preparation of periodic management reports.
- Maintaining accurate financial records, identifying discrepancies, and contributing to process improvements in the finance function.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Statutory Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI,



and coordinate with Statutory Auditors & Company Secretary.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, financial models, and reporting tools.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong analytical skills to identify, investigate, and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and auditors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certifications (such as CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar accounting role, preferably within manufacturing unit
