We work with early stage startups and growing companies, several with cross border structures across India, the US and Singapore, across accounting and compliance retainers, company secretarial support, financial and tax due diligence, incorporation, and Virtual CFO engagements.

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our team in a leadership capacity, someone who can own client delivery, manage relationships, and mentor the team across engagements.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Manager, Chartered Accountant at Bloomtree, you will lead delivery across accounting, compliance, due diligence, and Virtual CFO engagements for a portfolio of clients. You will manage client relationships directly, review the work of semi qualified accountants and accounts assistants, and contribute to proposals and engagement letters.

This is a leadership role that demands technical depth, ownership of client outcomes, and the ability to manage multiple engagements and team members at the same time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Coordination

- Supervise and coordinate daily work with Articles and junior employees
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure quality output across the team
- Mentor Articles through practical training and structured reviews
- Conduct regular team check-ins to monitor progress and resolve blockers

Compliance Management

- Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliances are tracked and completed on time
- Maintain a compliance calendar covering GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC, and other applicable filings
- Flag risks proactively and implement corrective actions before deadlines
- Stay updated with amendments in tax laws and regulatory requirements

Work Allocation & Planning





- Proactively manage work allocation across team members based on capacity and priority
- Plan workloads in advance to avoid last-minute escalations
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize workflows for efficient delivery

Client Coordination

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients across all their engagements
- Communicate clearly and professionally on all client tasks, deliverables, and timelines
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent follow-ups and proactive updates
- Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable internal tasks

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare and deliver timely Management Information System (MIS) reports to clients and management
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance of all financial reports and summaries
- Analyze data and present insights that support client decision-making

Management Communication

- Act as the point of contact between the firm's management and clients
- Provide regular updates to management on client work status, escalations, and team performance
- Maintain clear documentation and communication trails for all engagements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- 2 to 4 years of post qualification experience, ideally in a CA firm or consulting environment
- Strong technical grounding in accounting standards, GST, income tax, and company law
- Exposure to cross border transactions, FEMA, or due diligence work is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and junior team members at the same time
- Robust client-facing communication and drafting skills
- Proactive mindset, able to identify and resolve issues before they escalate

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- CTC: INR 12,00,000 to 14,00,000 per annum, based on experience and interview performance
