Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant with deep expertise in SAP ABAP and OData services to join our S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team. The role involves end‑to‑end development, enhancement, debugging, and production support of ABAP‑based interfaces and gateways, ensuring high‑quality delivery for complex enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain OData services using SAP ABAP Gateway.
- Implement enhancements, custom reports, and interfaces in ABAP for S/4HANA landscapes.
- Perform root‑cause analysis, debugging, and resolution of production issues.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce SAP best practices and coding standards.
- Provide on‑site and remote production support for critical SAP applications.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning activities.
- Create technical documentation, test cases,



and user guides.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge‑sharing sessions.
- Assist in architectural decisions and contribute to solution design workshops.

Qualifications

- Minimum 7 years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Solid expertise in SAP ABAP Gateway and OData service creation.
- Proven experience with enhancements, BAPI, IDoc, and RFC interfaces.
- Solid debugging skills and experience in production support environments.
- Knowledge of S/4HANA architecture and migration concepts.
- Familiarity with SAP UI5/Fiori is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., ABAP, OData) preferred.
