Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with 4–6 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data visualization, data modeling, and transforming business requirements into insightful dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
- Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple data sources
- Develop and optimize data models and DAX queries for performance and scalability
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and data engineers
- Schedule and manage data refreshes using Power BI Service
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance practices




- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize dashboards

Required Skills

- Robust experience in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships)
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes
- Familiarity with Excel (Advanced)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

- Experience with Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse)
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
- Exposure to Power Automate / Power Apps
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Relevant certifications in Power BI or Data Analytics are a plus
