Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to design and develop secure biometric authentication APIs and middleware for enterprise applications. The role involves developing high-performance REST APIs, integrating biometric SDKs/devices, and building scalable authentication services for enterprise systems.

The candidate will work on biometric authentication solutions integrated with enterprise applications, databases, and security frameworks, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices for biometric authentication systems.
- Integrate biometric SDKs and fingerprint devices (such as SecuGen or similar) with backend services.
- Develop secure authentication services using Java, Spring Boot, and API security frameworks.
- Implement fingerprint capture, template processing, and verification logic using biometric SDKs.
- Work on high-performance authentication workflows supporting large-scale enterprise users.
- Implement API security mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth2, and encryption.
- Integrate authentication APIs with enterprise applications, web portals, and third-party systems.
- Work closely with solution architects and DevOps teams to ensure scalability and high availability.




- Optimize application performance for high concurrent authentication requests.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and debugging mechanisms.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, and integration guidelines.

Education

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or equivalent.
