Description

1. The Sr. Executive - Trade Branch Operations is responsible for handling branch trade and forex desk operations, ensuring accurate processing, customer service, and strict compliance with regulatory guidelines.
2. The role involves managing export/import documentation, remittances, LCs/BGs, and coordinating with centralized trade operations and customers.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain First Time Right (FTR) status in all documents submitted to centralized operations.
2. Provide proactive service to customers, addressing forex-related queries.
3. Attend RBI, internal, concurrent, and external audits; ensure timely rectification of observations.
4. Conduct KYC verification and customer due diligence for all forex transactions.
5. Complete EDPMS/IDPMS entries accurately and within timelines.
6. Ensure proper disposal of BRCs, duty drawback, interest subvention, ECGC premium, TCS,



and other statutory dues.
7. Share market updates and views with clients to support decision-making.
8. Support mapped branches (C Category) in trade operations and credit limit processing.
9. Participate in joint customer visits with branch heads or sales teams.
10. Stay updated on AML/KYC/RBI guidelines and trade finance regulations.
11. Complete mandatory e-learning and capacity-building courses (IIBF certification preferred).
12. Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.

Qualifications

Experience: 3 - 5 years in trade finance or branch trade operations.

Education: Graduate/ Post‑Graduate (any specialization preferred).

Certifications: IIBF certification desirable.
