Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Instruction: Design, update, and deliver engaging undergraduate and/or graduate courses in areas such as world literature, literary theory, composition, or specialized sub-fields.Student Assessment: Create comprehensive syllabi, assignments, and exams; evaluate and grade student performance objectively and constructively.Research & Scholarship: Maintain an active program of scholarly research, publish peer-reviewed articles, monographs, or literary works, and present findings at academic conferences.Mentorship & Advising: Hold regular office hours to mentor students, guide thesis or capstone projects, and advise on academic pathways and career development.Departmental & University Service: Participate actively in department meetings, faculty committees, curriculum development, and campus-wide events or outreach programs.Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Ph.D.



or terminal degree in English, Literature, Creative Writing, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
