Alora Designs is a boutique architecture and interior design studio based in Bangalore, crafting warm, character-led homes and spaces. We work closely with clients to translate mood, material, and lifestyle into considered design — from concept through execution.

About the Role

n

We're looking for an Interior Designer with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing studio. You'll work directly with the founder across residential and boutique commercial projects — from concept development and mood boards to detailed drawings, material selection, and site coordination. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to grow fast in a small, design-forward studio.

What You'll Do

- Develop design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes aligned with client briefs
n
- Prepare layout plans, elevations, and detailed drawings (AutoCAD/SketchUp)
n
- Create 3D visualizations and renders to communicate design intent
n
- Source furniture, finishes, fixtures, and decor from vendors and showrooms
n
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure design accuracy during execution
n




- Prepare BOQs, specification sheets, and presentation decks for client meetings
n
- Conduct site visits and measurements
n
- Stay current with design trends, materials, and industry references (Pinterest, Instagram, trade sources)
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
n
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a design studio, architecture firm, or interior design practice
n
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; working knowledge of 3ds Max/V-Ray, Enscape, or similar rendering tools is a plus
n
- Strong sense of color, material, spatial planning, and detailing
n
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
n
- Valuable communication skills — able to present ideas clearly to clients and coordinate with vendors/contractors
n
- A genuine eye for design — someone who's always looking, referencing, and curating
n
- Based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore
