Job Title: Director / Associate Director – Digital Delivery, Energy Transformation & Resilience

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 10+ years (with 5+ years in technical architecture/digital delivery leadership)

Education: B.Tech/B.E. from a top-tier institute (MBA preferred, not mandatory)

About the Role: We are looking for a hands-on Digital Delivery Leader to drive the technology backbone of our Energy Transformation & Resilience engagements. This role sits at the intersection of technical architecture, solution delivery, and team leadership — owning the digital build from client discovery through go-live, across energy management systems, digital twins, and analytics platforms. The domain context is energy/sustainability transformation and the core is architecting and delivering digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Architecture & Solutioning
- Lead architecture discovery workshops with client teams to understand existing data, application, and infrastructure landscape (ERP/MES/SCADA, energy metering systems, etc.)
- Design and finalize target-state architecture across data, application, and cloud layers (Azure/AWS/GCP) for solutions such as energy management dashboards, digital twins, and AI-enabled optimization platforms
- Define integration approach with client's existing ERP/MES/SCADA and IoT systems
- Make build vs. buy vs. integrate calls; own technical documentation and design sign-offs
- Delivery Leadership
- Own end-to-end delivery lifecycle — from solution design to development, testing, UAT, and go-live
- Lead and mentor a team of developers (in-house and/or outsourced vendors), starting at 5+ team members and scaling with project needs
- Stay hands-on — expected to review code/architecture directly, not just delegate; comfortable getting into the details when needed
- Manage delivery governance: sprint/milestone tracking, quality checks, risk mitigation, and client sign-offs at each stage




- Coordinate with outsourced/vendor teams to ensure delivery timelines and quality standards are met
- Domain Application
- Apply technical solutions to energy transformation use cases: renewable/BESS integration, energy efficiency, green fuels (hydrogen/ammonia/methanol), real-time energy monitoring
- Support AI/advanced analytics builds for capex project management and operational improvement
- Build contract analytics solutions (milestone tracking, LD implications, cashflow monitoring) where relevant
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Present architecture proposals and progress updates to client stakeholders, including senior technical and business leadership
- Manage scope, timelines, and expectations proactively; secure formal client sign-offs at key milestones
- Business Development
- Support pursuit teams with technical solutioning, POCs, and proposal inputs for new opportunities
- Contribute to account growth by identifying digital extension opportunities within existing engagements

Must-Have Skills

- Proven experience designing and delivering technical architecture (data, application, cloud) — not just strategy/advisory
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), data architecture, and application/dashboard development
- Experience integrating with or building alongside ERP/MES/SCADA systems
- Track record of leading development teams (in-house + outsourced/vendor) through full delivery lifecycle
- Comfortable owning client-facing technical conversations and securing delivery sign-offs

Positive-to-Have

- Exposure to digital twins, IoT platforms, energy management systems, or industrial AI/ML solutions
- Experience in energy, manufacturing, power, renewables, or process industries (chemicals, cement, steel, oil & gas)
- Familiarity with GenAI, advanced analytics, or optimization algorithms
- Prior consulting/client-facing delivery experience
