Numbers tell the story of a business — and at Aistra, we want someone who can own that story end to end. We're hiring a Finance Executive to run the daily engine of our finance function: the invoices, the reconciliations, the closings, the compliance — all of it, done right and done on time. If you like clean books, sharp deadlines, and being the person people trust to have the numbers straight, this is your seat.
What You'll Own
- Day-to-day accounting — journal entries, transaction records, expense claim reviews, and audit-ready documentation.
- Finance operations — monitoring finance mailboxes and queries and keeping finance trackers current.
- Accounts payable & vendor management — invoice processing and review, payment approvals, initiating payments through the banking platform, and resolving vendor queries.
- Accounts receivable & billing — updating client contract trackers, raising sales invoices, preparing ageing reports, and following up on overdue balances.
- Banking, treasury & cash — daily cash position reports, bank reconciliations against the general ledger, and a rolling 3-month cash flow forecast.
- Payroll — monthly processing and disbursements, payroll accounting entries, tax declaration collection, and Form 16 support.
- Month-end close & reporting — P&L;, Balance Sheet, intercompany reconciliations, and resolving unusual balances before books close.
- Tax & statutory compliance — GST return preparation and filing, timely TDS payments, and coordinating with auditors and consultants on FEMA and transfer pricing filings.
- Controls & documentation — approval workflows, the IT/asset register, and spotting opportunities to automate routine work.
What You Bring
- A degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance — qualified/semi-qualified accountants have an edge.
- 3–5 years in a hands-on finance role covering accounting, AP/AR, banking, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Solid grip on GST, TDS, Softex, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping, including P&L;, Balance Sheet, and cash flow.
- Working knowledge of Excel and hands-on experience with Zoho Books or a similar ERP/accounting platform.
- Sharp attention to detail, solid ownership, and the discipline to hit deadlines without being chased.
- Good analytical and problem-solving instincts, with the confidence to flag issues before they become problems.
- A collaborative streak — you'll work closely with vendors, clients, banks, auditors, and internal teams.
- Comfort managing multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- High integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
Why Aistra
