Job Description
Talent Formula () is a consulting firm that offers outsourced financial and accounting Human Resources to Chartered Accounting firms worldwide. We currently have a position available with our client. This role offers a unique prospect to be the team member based in India. You'll be working closely with a well-established team located offshore. This setup provides good learning opportunities and direct exposure to offshore team from day one, working directly with Senior Executive Assistants

The purpose and aim of job is to ensure all work undertaken is carried out in accordance with the firm’s procedures. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of each assignment
n
As an Australian Accountancy expert, you will support multiple engagements and manage the delivery of AUS firms to time, budget and quality standards.
n
n
Skills, attributes and competencies required:
n
n
- CA or MBA Qualified
n
- 6+ years’ post-graduate experience working in Professional Practice firms.
n
- At least to 4 years of experience working with Australian accounting firms environment.
n
- Proficient in MYOB (Australian experience), Xero, Reckon, Client Accounting and NetSuite ideally.
n
- Proficient in Excel.
n
- Knowledge of payroll regulations.
n
- Knowledge of GST matters.
n
- Clear communication with managers.
n
- Attention to detail in regard to descriptions in accounting files, BAS work papers, payroll processes and month-end work papers.
n
- Ability to identify issues or errors in accounting files and communicate these to managers.
n
- Fixed asset knowledge including disposal of assets.
n
- Ability to identify tax issues.
n
- Proficient in identifying matters and differences in regard to tax rates, tax concessions and
n
- ATO offsets and bonus deductions.
n
- Knowledge of different entity types.
n
- Efficient in working within budgets and deadlines.
n
- Previous exposure to technical issues, complex structures and larger client groups is required.
n
n
n
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
n
n
- Complete processing of year-end work for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and companies.
n
- Preparation of work papers for all material P&L; accounts and all balance sheet accounts.
n
- Reconciliation of sales, GST, payroll tax and all balance sheet accounts.
n
- Identify Div7a issues.
n
- Prepare CGT calculations.
n
- Prepare income tax reconciliations, income tax return workpapers and income tax returns.
n
- Identify tax-efficient trust distributions and dividend payments.
n
- Prepare a list of matters identified for the manager and partner to discuss with the client.
n
- Prepare year-end documents for client sign-off including dividend statements, company minutes and year-end letters.
n
- Preparation and posting of alignment journals once the year-end job is completed.
n
