About the Role

n

SKIPS University is seeking an enthusiastic and student-focused Admissions Counselor – Inside Sales & Marketing to connect with prospective students, provide career guidance, manage admission leads, and convert enquiries into successful admissions.

n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs and career opportunities.
n
- Understand students' academic background, interests, and career goals.
n
- Provide information about eligibility, fees, admission process, and program details.
n
- Conduct tele-calling and regular follow-ups with prospective students.
n
- Manage and nurture leads from enquiry to admission.
n
- Invite students and parents for campus visits.
n
- Explain and coordinate Entrance Test, GD/PI & Final Admission processes.
n
- Assist students with applications, registration, documentation, and payment.
n
- Conduct college and coaching-class visits for student outreach.
n
- Deliver presentations, seminars,



and career guidance sessions.
n
- Participate in admission campaigns, education fairs, and promotional activities.
n
- Generate prospective student databases and maintain accurate CRM records.
n
- Track calls, follow-ups, campus visits, applications, and admission conversions.
n
- Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
n
- 1 to 5 + years of experience in Student Counselling, Admissions, Education Sales, Tele-calling, Business Development, or Marketing .
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Strong counselling and convincing abilities.
n
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
n
- Target-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
n
- Valuable follow-up and relationship-building skills.
n
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, CRM, and databases.
n
- Willingness to travel for outreach and marketing activities.
n
