Business Development Manager

Aldecor is seeking a creative, collaborative, experienced professional to join our office as a Business Development Manager. The role will be a vital member of the office, working directly with the leadership in Bangalore office as a key source of knowledge and leadership for the marketing team in Bangalore.

What You Will Do

n

n

The marketing manager is responsible for project-level success of office marketing, communication & PR efforts and supporting marketing projects and initiatives:

n

n

• Clear and constant communication with Business Development (BD) leaders, weekly BD meeting/reporting (via salesforce) with senior staff.

n

• Knows firm portfolio in detail, understands practice area capabilities, actively seeks out firm's best practices for use in office.

n

• Conducts internal and external research on new opportunities, prospective clients and practice areas.

n

• Leads strategy meetings with BD champions

n

• Creates pitch strategy/budget with BD champion including research, network mapping, tasks/milestones, reviews and delivers pitch strategy throughout process

n

• Researches targets, internal relationships, company history, market position; ensures client or 3rd party Q&A; and site visits

n

• Concept/write/design new material as needed to support marketing programs

n

• Manages daily workload/staffing for marketing team

n

• Support marketing initiatives as part of the senior member of the marketing team.

n

• Be the point person and responsible for Bangalore for Firmwide related projects (permissions, publications, submissions, etc.)

n

• Seeks out and implements process and content improvements

n





• Coaches peers on new ideas

n

• Mentors and trains junior team members in best practices while also inspiring them to be proactive in their own career development

n

• Maintains consistency of marketing deliverables, alignment with firm brand program, participates in design reviews with FW and regional marketing team

n

• Maintains resources & information systems: ordering materials, updating project documentation, resumes, image libraries, support award submissions

n

• Oversees local PR & communications efforts including: media, events, sponsorships, and photography

n

• Leads local internal communications as relevant

n

• Other responsibilities as assigned

n

Your Qualifications

n

n

• 0 to 5 years of professional experience in a marketing role, preferably for an architecture, design, engineering, construction, or industry-related firm.

n

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or adjacent field

n

• Strong graphic design sensibility and written/verbal communication skills

n

• Experience managing significant marketing projects independently, working closely with senior staff and leadership on marketing initiatives

n

• Experience managing a team – hiring, training, mentorship, and leading talent

n

• Experience strategically partnering and supporting senior staff on business-critical projects

n

• Self-motivator with strong organizational and intra-personal skills; a great collaborator

n

• Fluent in InDesign and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite software, and Salesforce is a plus.
