Job Summary

We are seeking an Entry-Level NetApp Storage Administrator with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in NetApp ONTAP administration, troubleshooting, and storage management. The ideal candidate should be available for immediate joining and possess strong technical, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deploy, administer, and support NetApp Storage environments (ONTAP/CDOT)
n
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve storage performance and availability issues
n
- Perform firmware and operating system upgrades on storage infrastructure
n
- Manage storage provisioning, snapshots, cloning, deduplication, replication, and disaster recovery activities
n
- Configure and support SnapMirror, IntelliSnap, controller failover, and backup integrations
n
- Utilize NetApp management tools including OnCommand Unified Manager, Performance Manager, and Insight
n
- Support storage protocols including CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel environments
n
- Participate in incident, problem, change, and configuration management processes following ITIL practices
n
- Assist with DR planning, DR testing, backup validation, and recovery procedures
n
- Collaborate with compute, virtualization, networking, and application teams to resolve infrastructure issues
n
- Maintain operational documentation and provide timely customer communication .

Required Skills & Experien ce

n

n
- 2–3 years of experience in NetApp Storage Administration and Support.
n




- Strong knowledge of NetApp ONTAP/CDOT environments.
n
- Experience with storage technologies including Snapshots, SnapMirror, Cloning, Deduplication, and Replication.
n
- Understanding of storage protocols: CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
n
- Knowledge of VMware vSphere, Microsoft Windows Server environments, and networking fundamentals.
n
- Experience in Linux System Administration.
n
- Familiarity with SAN, WAN, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery platforms.
n
- Understanding of security hardening, performance tuning, and infrastructure best practices.
n
- Exposure to managed services and outsourced support environments.
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Solid stakeholder management and customer service orientatio n.
n

Preferred Qualificati ons

- ITIL Foundation Certification.
n
- Experience supporting 24x7 enterprise production environments.
n
- Knowledge of Cisco networking and virtualization technologies .
n

Work Schedule

n

n
- 24x7x365 support environment.
n
- Two weekly off days, which maybe:
n
- Two mid-week days or One weekday and one weekend day.
n
- Hybrid work model with mandatory office presence three days per week in Bangalore.
n
