KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Planning & Business Development
n
n
- Partner directly with the Founder to define, articulate, and operationalize the Group's strategic priorities across business verticals.
n
- Conduct rigorous market research, competitive intelligence, and chance assessment to support new market entry, product development, and investment targeting.
n
- Translate high-level strategic direction into structured execution roadmaps with clearly defined milestones, owners, and success metrics.
n
- Identify white-space opportunities and emerging trends that align with the Group's investment thesis and growth objectives.
n

2. Financial Modelling & Investment Analysis
n
n
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, M&A; targets, partnerships, and capital allocation decisions.
n
- Develop comprehensive business cases, investment memoranda, and scenario analyses to support executive decision-making.
n
- Conduct valuation work including DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis as required.
n
- Track portfolio performance metrics and provide regular reporting against strategic and financial targets.
n

3. M&A; Support & Transaction Execution
n
n
- Support end-to-end M&A; processes including origination, due diligence coordination, financial modelling, and post-acquisition integration planning.
n
- Prepare deal summaries, term sheet analysis, and investment committee materials for the Founder and senior advisers.
n
- Coordinate with external advisers — legal, financial,
and sector specialists — to ensure efficient and well-governed transaction execution.
n

4. Cross-Functional Execution & Project Management
n
n
- Serve as the connective tissue between the Founder's Office and internal functions including Finance, Legal & Compliance, HR, and Business Unit leadership.
n
- Drive strategic projects from inception through delivery, maintaining accountability for timelines, quality, and stakeholder alignment.
n
- Identify operational inefficiencies and develop pragmatic recommendations for improvement across the Group's portfolio entities.
n

5. Executive Stakeholder Engagement & Communications
n
n
- Prepare high-quality executive presentations, board materials, investment briefs, and management dashboards for leadership and external audiences.
n
- Act as a credible and discreet representative of the Founder's Office in interactions with investors, partners, and senior advisers.
n
- Support investor relations activity, including preparation for investor meetings, due diligence packs, and strategic communications.
n

6. Performance Monitoring & Business Insights
n
n
- Develop and maintain KPI frameworks and management reporting structures to provide the Founder with timely, actionable business intelligence.
n
- Monitor macroeconomic developments, sector dynamics,
and portfolio performance to surface risks and opportunities proactively.
n
n
Essential
n
n
- 6–10 years of progressive experience in M&A; advisory, strategy consulting, corporate finance, or a founder's/CEO's office within a high-growth or complex multi-entity environment.
n
- Demonstrably strong financial modelling capability — proficient in building integrated three-statement models, DCF, LBO, and scenario/sensitivity analysis from scratch.
n
- Track record of managing and delivering complex, cross-functional projects with significant commercial stakes.
n
- Prior exposure to M&A; processes — whether in an advisory or principal capacity — including due diligence, deal structuring, and execution.
n
- Exposure of listed company experience in India, with Tech/IT/Cybersecurity etc.
n
- Educated to degree level in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; an MBA or ACA/CFA qualification is highly advantageous.
n
- Comfortable operating with high levels of confidentiality and personal accountability.
n

Preferred
n
n
- Background in Big 4 Transaction Services, bulge-bracket or boutique investment banking, top-tier strategy consulting (MBB / Big 4 Strategy), or a principal investing environment.
n
- IT/ITES/Tech/Cyber Security background is essential.
n
- Experience operating in or alongside a founder-led or family office environment.
n
- Exposure to multi-sector investment portfolios or conglomerate business models.
n
- Familiarity with the UK regulatory and corporate governance landscape.
