Required Skills

n

n
- Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python/C#), Playwright, and TypeScript
n
- API Testing: RestAssured, Karate, Postman/Newman
n
- BDD: Cucumber (Gherkin), Serenity BDD, and PO acceptance criteria alignment
n
- Programming Languages: Java (JUnit 5, TestNG), Python (pytest), JavaScript/TypeScript (Jest, Mocha), C#, Groovy (Spock)
n
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, SonarQube quality gates, Allure/ExtentReports
n
- Data & Platforms: Spark job validation (PySpark), Elasticsearch assertions, Kafka consumer/producer testing, Docker/Kubernetes smoke testing
n
- Performance Testing: JMeter, Gatling, or k6 for load/stress testing against SLA targets
n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Own the test automation strategy for one or more SCF modules and design the automation framework architecture.
n
- Build and maintain Selenium/Playwright end-to-end test suites for buyer approval, supplier self-service, and funder portal workflows.
n
- Develop RestAssured/Karate API automation suites for invoice ingestion, deal configuration, and payment settlement endpoints.
n
- Write and maintain Cucumber/Gherkin BDD scenarios in collaboration with Product Owners and Business Analysts.
n




- Integrate automation suites into Jenkins/GitLab CI pipelines with quality gates and publish Allure dashboards.
n
- Validate Spark batch outputs and Talend ETL results, including verification of financial calculations such as discount rates, FX, and fee accruals.
n
- Execute performance and load tests on critical APIs and report bottlenecks to the Architecture team.
n

Requirements

n

n
- 7+ years of experience in QA Automation Engineering, preferably in FinTech, Banking, or ERP platforms.
n
- Proficiency in at least two automation stacks such as Java + Selenium, Playwright + JavaScript/TypeScript, Python + pytest, or RestAssured.
n
- Robust hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber/Gherkin.
n
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
n
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes-based test environments.
n
- ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification is an added advantage.
n
