Responsibilities
Engineer enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot
Define and implement microservices architectures deployed on cloud platforms
Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
Run code reviews and coach team members on technical best practices
Influence architectural decisions to ensure quality, security, reliability, and compliance standards are met
Use Agile and DevOps best practices across the software development lifecycle
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery execution
Resolve complex technical issues across the application stack through troubleshooting
Deploy and manage services using containerization and orchestration tools

Requirements




Demonstrated 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building with Java 21, Quarkus, and Java/JEE
Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Security, and JUnit testing
Solid database experience with Oracle, Sybase, and PL/SQL
Solid background in microservices architecture plus Azure Cloud and Serverless approaches
Excellent understanding of Kubernetes primitives such as pods, containers, services, and Istio
Hands-on experience working with Docker and Redis
Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating backend services with frontend
Familiarity with Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

Nice to have
Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and React (including Hooks)
Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with performance tuning and DevOps
Ability to implement UX designs into responsive, scalable, maintainable UI solutions using standards and patterns
