Job Description – Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Position: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
Department: Hospital / Clinical Services
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 0–3 Years

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial patient assessments and monitor vital signs and clinical progress.
Attend to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate management.
Coordinate with Consultants, Specialists, Nursing Staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Review and implement treatment plans as advised by Consultants.
Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records, progress notes, and documentation.
Ensure timely investigations, follow-ups, and communication of critical results.
Handle admissions, transfers, discharges, and routine clinical procedures.
Monitor patients post-procedure and identify any deterioration requiring immediate attention.




Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.

Qualifications
MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
Valid registration with the respective State Medical Council (MMC)
RMO / Hospital experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night duties.
