(A) JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Software Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of software development projects. The ideal candidate will be PMP-certified, possess strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, and have proven experience managing complex projects across cross-functional teams.

(B) JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY

Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of software projects

Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements

Develop detailed project plans and track progress against milestones

Manage cross-functional teams including developers, QA, UX, DevOps, and vendors

Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, and senior management

Manage change requests and scope adjustments effectively

Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques





Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices

Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives (for Agile projects)

Prepare status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries

Ensure compliance with organizational processes and governance

(C) QUALIFICATION & SKILLSET

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field

PMP Certification (Mandatory)

6–10 years of total experience in the IT/software industry

Minimum 4+ years of hands-on project management experience

Proven track record of delivering software projects successfully

Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)

Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps)

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

PREFERRED SKILLS

Experience managing enterprise or large-scale software implementations

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Vendor and stakeholder management experience

Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and contract management

Experience in client-facing roles
