QUANTITY SURVEYOR – CONSTRUCTION

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage project quantities, BOQ preparation, estimation, costing, measurements, billing, and cost control for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review BOQ (Bill of Quantities) from drawings and specifications.
Perform quantity take-offs and measurements.
Study architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
Prepare project estimates and cost calculations.
Conduct rate analysis for materials, labour, and construction activities.
Prepare material quantity and cost estimates.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
Verify site measurements and actual quantities.
Monitor BOQ quantities against project progress.
Prepare variation and additional-work statements.
Check contractor and subcontractor bills.
Assist with tender and quotation preparation.




Maintain measurement sheets and cost records.
Prepare quantity and cost reports for management.
Support project cost control activities.

Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Freshers & experienced candidates are welcome.
Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials.
Ability to read construction drawings.
Knowledge of BOQ, estimation, quantity take-off, and costing.
Valuable numerical and analytical skills.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel.
AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
