Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Printer Engineer to handle the installation, diagnosis, servicing, preventive maintenance, and repair of various printing equipment. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on technical expertise across multiple printer technologies and the ability to independently troubleshoot complex hardware and print-quality issues.

Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of printers and multifunction devices.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hardware, connectivity, and print-quality issues.
Handle Dot Matrix, Write Printer, A3, A4, A5, Multifunction Printers (MFP), and Inkjet Printers.
Inspect printer components and identify faulty parts requiring repair or replacement.
Perform component-level maintenance and replacement of printer parts, consumables, and accessories.
Resolve paper-jam, printing, scanning, connectivity, alignment, and image-quality issues.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
Maintain accurate service reports, repair records,



and technical documentation.
Provide professional technical support to clients and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
Maintain adequate knowledge of printer models, components, consumables, and service procedures.

Required Technical Skills
5–7 years of relevant experience as a Printer Engineer/Service Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with Dot Matrix, Write Printer, A3, A4, A5, MFP, and Inkjet printers.
Strong understanding of printer hardware, mechanical assemblies, electronic components, and consumables.
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
Ability to identify root causes and implement effective technical solutions.
Good knowledge of printer installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair.
Strong customer-handling, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Profile
Technically sound and independently capable of handling service calls.
Robust attention to detail and service quality.
Ability to work under pressure and meet service timelines.
Skilled approach with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
