JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide immediate and effective nursing care to patients in emergency and critical situations.
Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and prioritization based on the severity of the condition.
Monitor and record vital signs and promptly report any changes to the medical team.
Assist doctors during emergency procedures, resuscitation, and trauma management.
Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and other treatments as prescribed.
Maintain emergency equipment, crash carts, and necessary supplies in a ready-to-use condition.
Assist in CPR and other life-saving interventions when required.
Prepare and transfer patients safely for investigations, admission, surgery, or referral.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, doctors, and other healthcare specialists.
Work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary emergency care team.
REQUIREMENTS
B.Sc. Nursing
Valid Kerala Nursing Council registration
Experience in Emergency Department / Casualty
