Job Title: Accounts Associate

Job Summary

The Accounts Associate will support the Finance & Accounts Department in day-to-day accounting operations. This role provides practical exposure to accounting processes, financial documentation, accounts receivable and payable management, and accounting software while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the daily management of accounting and financial transactions.
Support the maintenance of accurate financial records and documentation.
Assist in managing Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoice preparation, payment follow-ups, and customer account reconciliation.
Assist in managing Accounts Payable (AP), including recording vendor invoices, payment processing, and reconciliation.
Record accounting entries and maintain financial data in the accounting system.
Verify invoices, receipts, vouchers, and supporting documents for accuracy.
Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance.
Organize and maintain financial files and records.
Support month-end and year-end accounting activities.




Assist in preparing basic financial reports as required.
Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation.

Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Pursuing or completed a skilled qualification such as:
CA Intermediate
CMA Intermediate

Preferred Skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Knowledge of Zoho Books or other accounting software is an added advantage.
Solid numerical and analytical skills.
Good organizational and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
