Production Engineer – Job Description

Position: Production Engineer
Location: Chakan, Pune
Industry: Manufacturing
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000 per month
Employment: Full time

Key Responsibilities
Plan, monitor and control daily production activities.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
Monitor manpower, machines, materials and production processes.
Maintain production quality and reduce rejection, rework and downtime.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Planning teams.
Prepare and maintain production reports, MIS and process documentation.
Identify process issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards and company procedures.




Support productivity improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Handle shop-floor activities and resolve day-to-day production issues.

Candidate Requirements
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering preferred.
Relevant experience in a manufacturing company.
Good knowledge of production processes and shop-floor operations.
Strong problem-solving, communication and team-management skills.
Willingness to work in a quick-paced manufacturing setting.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
