Job Description: SAP EWM Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP EWM Consultant with 10+ years of overall SAP experience and strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), SAP MM, and Logistics. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting end-to-end warehouse and logistics solutions across SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA environments.

The ideal candidate should possess deep functional knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, inbound and outbound logistics, and cross-functional integration between SAP EWM, MM, SD, PP, and QM.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
- Analyze business requirements and design scalable warehouse management solutions.
- Configure and support SAP EWM processes, including:
- Inbound & outbound logistics
- Goods receipt & goods issue
- Putaway and picking strategies
- Wave and replenishment management
- Packing & Handling Unit (HU) management
- Physical inventory and cycle counting
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP EWM and SAP MM, along with SD, PP, QM, and SAP S/4HANA.




- Support warehouse process optimization and logistics execution improvements.
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP/development teams for custom enhancements.
- Execute SIT, UAT, go-live, hypercare, and production support activities.
- Create functional documentation, user manuals, and conduct end-user training.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver best-practice warehouse solutions.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall SAP consulting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
- Proven expertise in SAP MM and warehouse/logistics business processes.
- Experience working with SAP ERP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Robust understanding of:
- Inventory Management
- Warehouse Operations
- Inbound & Outbound Logistics
- EWM–MM Integration
- Cross-functional integration with SD, PP, and QM
- Experience in configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- SAP EWM Certification.
- Experience in multiple full-cycle EWM implementations.
- Knowledge of embedded and decentralized EWM.
- Exposure to RF Framework, Warehouse Monitor, and SAP Fiori is an added advantage.
