About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern who has a basic understanding of modern search optimization techniques and is willing to learn and grow with our team. The candidate should have knowledge of SEO, AEO, GEO, GMB, and SMO and be comfortable working on multiple client websites and digital marketing projects.

Key Responsibilities
Perform On-Page, Off-Page & Technical SEO activities.
Conduct Keyword Research, Competitor Analysis & Website Audits.
Optimize website content, meta titles, descriptions, headings, URLs and internal linking.
Work on AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) to improve visibility in featured snippets and answer-based searches.
Understand and implement GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies for AI-powered search visibility.
Manage and optimize Google Business Profile (GMB) listings.
Handle Local SEO activities including local citations, NAP consistency and location-based optimization.
Perform SMO (Social Media Optimization) activities across relevant social media platforms.
Assist in link-building, content optimization and off-page SEO campaigns.
Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic and website performance.
Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, Keyword Research Tools and other SEO tools.




Prepare basic SEO reports and track campaign performance.
Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, AEO and AI search developments.

Required Skills
Basic to positive knowledge of SEO
Understanding of AEO & GEO
Knowledge of Google Business Profile (GMB) & Local SEO
Knowledge of SMO & Social Media Marketing
Keyword Research & Competitor Analysis
On-Page & Off-Page SEO
Basic understanding of Technical SEO
Positive written communication skills
Willingness to learn new SEO tools and strategies
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred
Candidates with SEO internship, certification or practical project experience will be preferred.
Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs/Ubersuggest is an advantage.
Candidates who have worked on real websites, GMB profiles or SEO projects will be preferred.
